Our Fairy Godmothers
Fairy Godmothers are known for quietly helping out in a crisis. We won't be turning pumpkins into carriages, but we may very well help with transportation for women in greater need than Cinderella.
In less than a year, we have more than 70 women (there may be a man or two-- but mostly it is all women) who have committed to be Fairy Godmothers for other Salina women they will never meet.
Women in Manhattan and Lawrence are Fairy Godmothers in similar efforts... our fund will help spread the network of Fairy Godmothers across the state!
Through your tax-deductable contribution, to the Women Helping Women Fund, you can make a gift that will help another woman take the next step toward independence or relief from poverty.
Gifts of any size are welcome to help grow the Women Helping Women Fund. Women who contribute $500 or more, over a two-year period, will be listed as Fairy Godmothers.
You can make a gift in your name, or honor another woman who has been a Fairy Godmother in your life by making the gift in her name. (Or join with friends to honor a particular woman.)
